This recommendation provides enough space for full motion of swings and proper safety. The recommended playground area surrounding the playset is six feet around the outside. The area around the playset needs enough room to accommodate play and safety. Patiova does not assist with ground leveling. If your yard sits on a hill or a slight slope, proper lawn preparation needs to be done before the installation of the playset.
